Tu Kepa and Diosa Correa de la Hoz

Tu and Diosa coordinate our twice weekly community pantry, organising deliveries, making up parcels, keeping records, and keeping pantry users linked to other Wesley initiaitives.

Tu is part of the Ngati Toa Kaumatua group and a kuia to Wesley House. Tu raised her family in Porirua which now includes four generations. Connected to many local families, giving back comes naturally to Tu. She is involved in the community in many ways - 'Its our community, we own it, we need to use our voice".

Diosa is a local resident who moved to Porirua from Colombia. She heard about Wesley through the refugee navigation service and enjoys the connection Wesley gives her with people. Diosa is studying a social work programme at Whitireia Polytechnic.
